It's the path you take, the steps you make That make you who you are It's the life you live, the gifts you give The love that's in your heart Just try to do the best you can To be a better man You don't have to walk on water, It's how you walk on land. ("WALK ON WATER" by BLUE COUNTY)
Lesser known 1. Tim Lovell-(a magificant word crafter!!) 2.Tim Beitzel-(Of The Couriers.)
[I have to include those who write or wrote the poems. The word crafters, the ones that REALLY make a song, a hymn work and bless. Today there are none to my mind better than Gloria Gaither and Tim Lovell. In the past Fanny Crosby and others.

I think Mosie Lister has written some great songs. I could say the same about Bill Gaither and Dottie Rambo.
Between the three of them, there are some real classics, like Til The Storm Passes On, Then I Met The Master, Because He Lives, The King Is Coming, He Looked Beyond My Faults, and many, many others.

I like Ronny Hinson's writing, have for several years now, the Lighthouse and many others.

I'm not sure if Gerald Crabb's songs will stand the test of time like Mosie's, Bill's and Dotty's have, but he is certainly writing his share of number 1 songs on the charts, isn't he?
