I am reaching back in the archives of my devotional to March 1st of 2004.
Also back to 1969 when I wrote this song.

GOD and Music-Thoughts to uplift HIM and the soul of a believer.
Zephaniah 3:17c-"HE will joy over thee with singing."

"The Prepared Saints"

Someday in the near future, the long awaited call will come for those who have claimed the blood of Jesus to leave for glory.

1."We're waiting for The Lord's return,
Each saint in every land;
For that glad morning, noon, or night,
When by HIS side we'll stand.

Unlike Lot's wife, whose very being was rooted in the world and her past. We will NOT look back!

2. When I am on my way to Heav'n,
No backward glance there'll be;
For what on earth could measure up,
To what my eyes shall see!!

We will have eternity to praise HIM for what HE has done on our behalf.

3. When standing on the streets of Heaven,
I'll praise HIS matchless name;
For on the cross HE took my place,
My sin, my death, and blame..

Chorus-
Oh, may we ever be prepared,
To meet The Savior in the air;
Oh, may we ever be prepared,
Each saint in every land."

Acts 13:48b-
"....they were glad, and glorified The Word of The Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed."

Be ready ALL the time, for it could be TODAY!!
